About Our 3-Day Amboseli Safari

Experience the beauty of Amboseli National Park on a 3-day safari from Nairobi. Known for its large elephant herds, open savannah landscapes and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli offers an exceptional wildlife experience within a short journey from Kenya’s capital.

This 3-day Amboseli safari includes two nights in the park, morning and afternoon game drives, and opportunities to see elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife. With an experienced safari guide and a carefully planned itinerary, you’ll have time to explore Amboseli while enjoying the scenery and wildlife at a comfortable pace.

Itinerary

📅 Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your 3-day Amboseli safari begins with a morning pick-up in Nairobi and a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park. We hit the Mombasa Highway, driving through
the African savannah with the majestic Kilimanjaro slowly rising in the distance.

The Experience: Arrive at your lodge in time for a delicious lunch and a short rest. In the
afternoon, the real action begins. Enter Amboseli National Park for your first game drive. The
park is famous for its “tuskers”-some of the largest elephants in Africa. Watch them dust-bathe
in the golden light of sunset while zebras and wildebeest graze nearby. As dusk falls, the
mountain often reveals its snow-capped peak for a breathtaking welcome.
Overnight: Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge/camp.

📅 DAY 2

Amboseli National Park (Full Day)
Wake up to the sight of the mountain (weather permitting) and prepare for a full day of immersion in
the wild.

The Experience: Today, we explore every corner of this diverse ecosystem. Visit Observation
Hill, the only point in the park where you can get out of the vehicle and enjoy a panoramic 360
degree view of the swamps and plains below—you might even spot hippos battling in the water!
We will track lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, and enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the bush.
Whether it’s the birdlife in the swamps or the dust devils on the dry lake bed, Amboseli never
stops showing off.
Overnight: Return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and stories around the campfire.

📅 DAY 3

Amboseli to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, we embark on a final morning game drive to catch any predators we might
have missed.

The Experience: Bid farewell to the elephants and the mountain as we exit the park. We enjoy a
scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. We will drop you off at your hotel or the
airport, leaving you with a camera full of photos and a heart full of memories.

Premium Transport: Travel in a 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for unobstructed
photography and game viewing.
Accommodation: 2 Nights in comfortable lodges or tented camps (e.g., Kibo Safari Camp,
Sentrim Amboseli, or similar).
Full Board Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner to keep you fueled for adventure.
Expert Guidance: Services of a professional, English-speaking driver-guide who knows the park’s
hidden gems.
All Fees: Park entrance fees, conservation charges, and government taxes.
On-Board Hydration: Complimentary bottled mineral water during all game drives.
Transfers: Pick-up and drop-off from your Nairobi Hotel or JKIA Airport.
