Your safari kicks off with a morning pick-up in Nairobi.
The Experience: Brace yourself for a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley
escarpment. We arrive in the legendary Maasai Mara in time for lunch. After settling in,
the adventure begins with an afternoon game drive in “Big Five” territory.
Maasai Mara National Reserve (Full Day)
Wake up to the sounds of the wild for a full day in Africa’s premier game reserve.
The Experience: Look out for cheetahs scanning from termite mounds and massive
elephant herds roaming the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the bush before
continuing your search for the elusive leopard.
Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Bid farewell to the Mara and head to the pink-rimmed shores of Lake Nakuru.
The Experience: Known as a “Birdwatcher’s Paradise,” this park is famous for its
flamingo populations and pelicans. Keep your eyes peeled for both black and southern
white rhinos grazing near the lake during your sunset game drive.
Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
A short drive takes us to the freshwater haven of Lake Naivasha.
The Experience: Swap the 4×4 for a boat! Enjoy a boat ride on the lake, sailing past
pods of hippos and spotting fish eagles. We then head to Hell’s Gate National Park—
famous for its towering cliffs and geothermal steam jets where you can explore the
gorges on foot or bicycle.
Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast, we enjoy the final views of the Rift Valley before driving back to Nairobi. The Experience: We return you to the capital with full memory cards and full hearts,
dropping you off at your hotel or the airport.
