Coast to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary Start your adventure with a pick-up from your coastal hotel (Mombasa, Diani, or Watamu). Leave the ocean breeze behind for a scenic drive inland to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The Experience: Arrive in time for lunch and a short rest before your first afternoon game drive. Step into lush, rolling landscapes in this private conservancy. Famous for its distinctive stilt lodges and underground viewing tunnels, Taita Hills allows you to get eye-to-level with elephants, lions, and buffaloes at active waterholes without disturbing them. Taita Hills to Tsavo East National Park After breakfast, journey deeper into the wild as we head to Tsavo East National Park. Known as the “Theatre of the Wild,” Tsavo East is famous for its legendary “Red Elephants” dust-reddened from the rich soil and the spectacular Galana River. Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park Depart after breakfast for a short drive to the neighboring Tsavo West National Park.
